Maui onion sample mix

  • 2 Sleves (9 oz.) Club Crackers (crunched up into small pieces) - you can use mini Club Crackers too!

  • 1 bag (9 oz) Kix Oyster Crackers

  • 1/2 box (9 oz) Multigrain Cheerios (Honey Nut or Original Cheerios work too!)

  • 1 cup neutral oil (canola, vegetable, or peanut oil work best)

  • 1 package Bangin Maui Onion spice mix

    Instructions:

  • Preheat (optional): If you like your crackers extra crispy, preheat your oven to 250°F.

  • Mix it up: In a large mixing bowl or a two gallon-size zip-top bag, combine the oil and Maui Onion spice mix. Stir or shake well until the seasoning is evenly blended into the oil.

  • Add the crackers: Pour the crackers into the bowl or bag. Toss or shake until every cracker is coated in that sweet, savory goodness.

  • Let them marinate: Let the crackers sit for at least 1 hour (or overnight) to soak up the flavor. Stir occasionally if using a bowl.

  • Bake (optional): Spread the crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, to lock in the flavor and crunch. Let cool before serving. I bake the samples!!!!!

maui onion cracker and veggie Dip

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sour cream (light sour cream is great too!)

    OR

  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream & 1/2 cup mayo

    OR

  • 2 cups whole milk greek yogurt

    OR

  • 1 16 oz container classic hummus

    OR

  • 2 cups of your favorite cracker companion (avocado, cream cheese etc)!!!

  • 1 package Bangin! Maui Onion spice mix

Optional Toppings:

  • Sliced or pickled cucumber, onion, (ore really any darn veggie!)

  • Fresh chopped dill

Instructions:

  1. Mix it up: In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and Maui Onion spice mix. Stir until smooth and well blended.

  2. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. Garnish & serve: Right before serving, top with chopped fresh or pickled veggies or finely chopped dill for that bangin! final touch.

    PRO TIP: This dip LIVES for POTATO CHIPS!!!

Laura’s Bangin’ Broccoli Bombs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound broccoli florets

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 package Bangin’ Maui Onion seasoning

  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

Instructions:

  1. Steam the broccoli
    Steam the broccoli florets until tender and slightly mushy. Drain well and place in a large bowl. Mash with a fork until mostly smooth, leaving a few small chunks for texture.

  2. Mix it up
    Add the Parmesan cheese, egg, and Bangin’ Maui Onion seasoning to the mashed broccoli. Stir until thoroughly combined.

  3. Form the bombs
    Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture at a time and roll into balls. Coat each ball in panko bread crumbs, pressing lightly to help the crumbs stick.

  4. Air fry
    Preheat an air fryer to 375°F. Arrange the broccoli bombs in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Serve hot
