Privacy
Bangin Foods LLC (“we”), maker of Bangin Spices, runs this site to sell our seasoning mixes and to run fundraisers with teams and schools. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain terms.
What we collect when you order
- Your name, email and (optionally) phone number, to send your receipt and contact you about your order.
- Your shipping address, if you choose shipping.
- What you ordered and what you paid. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
Fundraisers
When you shop through a seller’s link, we record which fundraiser and seller the order belongs to so the team gets credit. The team’s organizers see each order’s seller, items and the name you entered, so they can deliver it. They don’t see your email, phone, address or payment details.
Sellers are often students. We show sellers by first name and last initial only, and we don’t collect any contact information from them. A family can ask that a seller be left out of the public list of sellers; their personal link still works.
Cookies and storage on your device
- Fundraiser cookie. When you open a seller’s link, we save which seller you’re supporting for 30 days, so the credit stays with them while you browse. It holds nothing else.
- Your cart. Items you add are kept in your browser until you check out.
- Sign-in cookies for our staff admin pages.
We don’t use advertising trackers, and we don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who else handles your information
Only the services we need to run the store: our payment processor [Square or Stripe], our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase), and our email provider for receipts. Each uses your information only to provide that service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and customer service — generally [7] years — and then delete them.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email pamela@banginfoods.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. Some order records we must keep for tax purposes.
Children
This site is for adults placing orders. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond a seller’s first name and last initial, provided by their team’s organizer.
