  • 1 bag oyster crackers (9 oz)

  • 2 bags Goldfish Crackers (12 oz)

  • 1 box Cheez It Crackers (7 oz)

  • 1 cup neutral oil (canola, vegetable, or peanut oil work best)

  • 1 package Bangin Jalapeno spice mix (3 TBS)

    Instructions:

  • Preheat (optional): If you like your crackers extra crispy, preheat your oven to 250°F.

  • Mix it up: In a large mixing bowl or a two gallon-size zip-top bag, combine the oil and Bangin Jalapeno spice mix. Stir or shake well until the seasoning is evenly blended into the oil.

  • Add the crackers: Pour the crackers into the bowl or bag. Toss or shake until every cracker is coated in that sweet, savory goodness.

  • Let them marinate: Let the crackers sit for at least 1 hour (or overnight) to soak up the flavor. Stir occasionally if using a bowl.

  • Bake (optional): Spread the crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, to lock in the flavor and crunch. Let cool before serving. I bake the samples!!!!!

    • 2.5 lbs ground beef (80/20)

    • 1 pouch Bangin’ Jalapeño seasoning (3 Tbsp)

    • Optional: sliced jalapeños, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, pickles, Bangin’ sauce, brioche buns

    Instructions:

    1. Season the Beef:

    2. Portion the Patties:
Divide the seasoned beef into 8–10 loose balls (about 3–4 oz each). Keep them loosely formed for best texture.

    3. Heat the Cooking Surface:
Preheat a cast-iron skillet or griddle to medium-high heat. Add a light coating of oil or butter.

    4. Smash + Sear:
Place a beef ball onto the hot surface and smash firmly with a spatula or burger press to about ¼-inch thick.
Let it cook 2–3 minutes until the edges are crispy and browned.

    5. Flip + Cheese:
Flip once. Add cheese if desired. Cook 1–2 minutes more.

    6. Toast the Buns:
Lightly butter buns and toast cut-side down until golden.

    7. Assemble:
Stack one or two patties per bun. Add toppings like jalapeños, grilled onions, pickles, and Bangin’ sauce.
